Fans are the primary air moving devices of any ventilation system. They must be capable of continuously delivering the proper airflow at the design resistance generated by the various components in the system over long periods of time. These self-contained ventilation units are available in varying sizes for exhaust service applications in the industrial, municipal and chemical processing fields.
AirChem fabricates a line of centrifugal and radial fans. The fan, fan wheels and scrolls are fabricated from corrosion-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) to provide superior corrosion resistance when exhausting highly corrosive fumes.
In addition the fan bases and support brackets are also fabricated from corrosion resistant FRP to provide resistance from the corrosive effects of the weather and trace fumes that will attack a steel base. The fan scroll can be rotated to direct the discharge direction to fit the site conditions.
