Carbon Absorbers are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) shell and activated carbon packing; these units can have single or dual carbon beds that can be either vertical or horizontal.
Carbon absorption is used as the primary capture devise for many types of contaminants. Carbon adsorbers are capable of handling the volumes that need to be collected that are too small for a wet bed scrubber system or to capture volatile organic compounds (VOC) from groundwater stripping systems. In addition, the carbon units also serve as soil remediation and polishing systems after the scrubbing stage in order to achieve extremely high removal efficiencies.
The carbon units are designed to remove odor-causing components such as hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, organic acids, aldehydes, and ketones in various industrial and municipal applications.
